Malunggay

I love malunggay. I really do ... kaso ang nakakainis lang sa pagluluto ng malunggay eh yung preparation. You have to get rid all the stalks para maging edible siya. Imagine mo naman kasi if you eat malunggay na di tinatanggal yung tangkay hehehe. Someone sent dad a whole native chicken already half cooked, ready to cook na kumbaga. Ilokano way of tinola does not consist of green papaya and dahon ng sili but malunggay and ampalaya. Weird ba? You should try it, its so masarap. Pero it's best cooked with native chicken only ... we've tried it using the common chicken you buy in supermarket, hindi siya ganun kasarap.

Congratulations to EJ Litiatco for giving birth to a bouncing baby boy. So gwapong baby ... sana sa amin din ganun ka-gwapo ang maging baby namin hehehe.

I failed to watch the 1st episode of CSI Miami's new season due to unexpected reasons ... nakakainis na reason na ayoko na i-mention. Pero I'll tell you in time ... kainis no, ngayon palang pinapalabas dito sa Pinas yung new season ng CSI Miami, samantalang in other parts of the world tapos na ata siya.

yup pure Ilokano pero hilaw na ako since we grew up in Manila. Si dad taga Laoag, Ilocos Norte, si Mom naman Candon, Ilocos Sur. oh di ba 100% hehehe. Naku di nawawala ang saluyot dito ... kasi mahilig magdiningding sila mommy.

may kwento nga pala ako tungkol sa malunngay, na-meet namin yung yaya ni Pres. Marcos sa Agoo, La Union before, that time she was already 99 years old. Ang sikreto? Malunggay... pampahaba daw ng buhay hehehe.
